Last weekend I had the opportunity to do a Christmas Mini Session with Jill, her husband Steve and their daughter.  You may recognize them as the couple from my Maternity Session.  Their daughter is now 17months and she is soooo cute.  I had so much fun following her everywhere~and those eyes!!!  Steve, you are going to have your hands full when she is older!

Old Tree

This old tree sits by the side of the road as you are driving into the mountains from Lethbridge to Fernie.  We've past by it so many times as we head out on our annual family ski trip.  I finally found some time to edit the image and give it a contrasty black and white look that I love so much.

I love taking photographs of Landscapes too...

I've always been drawn to beautiful landscape images in various mediums~photographic, watercolor and acrylic.  Some of my favorite pieces are by Tom Thompson, The Group of Seven, Amanda Dunbar and Ansel Adams to name a few.  It comes as no surprise then that I also love taking beautiful landscape images as well.  The following collage is made up of images of Jackfish Lake just North of Swan River Manitoba. 

I was going through my summer photos and trying to decide what to print.  As I was doing this I came across this collection of pictures I took of my kids having a blast in our Spa even though it was 30 degrees.   There is nothing like sitting in a hot tub when it's hot outside??!!  And sipping a Frostie!



Make a book of your photo's with Blurb

How many of you take pictures of your family to only leave them sitting on your computer for only you to see?  It happens way too often.  We have good intensions of printing the pictures only to get busy with 'life'.  Well no more!!

Miss Madeleine Jane...Teaser

Yesterday was Maddie's day to get new pictures as she is headed of into the land of Kindergarten.  I had so much fun taking pictures of Maddie, as I learned she's quite a poser especially when she has an audience. She is either going to be an actress when she grows up or a writer because she has such an imagination! 

 Here are a few 'teaser' pictures of our day. Sorry Jenn, you are just going to have to wait for the keepers!

Little 'J'

I spent one afternoon with one of my co-workers and her little man 'J'.  He's a cutie patootie and a mover and a shaker.  'J' loves to skateboard and while we were shooting he found this wrench and figured he should 'fix' all the dandelions in the park.  Because he is in foster care I cannot show you his face.  But as soon as he is adopted I'm posting his adorable pix!
