My nose wrinkles when a laugh, I hate to fold bed sheets and my children are my greatest accomplishment!
Not knowingly, photography has been a passion of mine. I've always loved taking pictures and it wasn't until my Dad gave me his Canon AE-1 Program film camera and all the goodies that went with it, did I discover just how much I truly loved photography and the process of post processing an image. My post processing journey started in the dark room. With great anticipation, I could not wait to see how my images turned out. With the introduction of digital photography and post-processing programs, that same creativity and process continues. From taking the picture to creating a custom image, I love every part that encompasses photography.
I am a natural light on location photographer. Together we will choose the settings for your lifestyle portraits. I want you and your family to enjoy the process of having your photos taken. I want your session to be fun and stress free! If your children need to take a break and recharge with a snack, not a problem. You would like to make a clothing change, no worries. That's why enough time is given to get the best images possible. No cheesy smiles or posing here. I want to capture your family in real life.
You may notice that my children and my niece appear a lot on my blog and website. They are in fact the biggest part of my life and therefore photos of them and all that they do, will appear a lot throughout my blog. The three of them together is a lot like "herding cats", as my sister-in-law Jenn would say. They provide me with the greatest opportunities and challenges to grow as a photographer and I cherish every moment with them.
